We at Christ Tabernacle want to thank you for visiting us.
We are a family of believers in Jesus Christ who have a desire to know the Lord, grow in love towards others, and reach our community and the world for Jesus Christ. We are a Bible believing and Bible teaching church. We also depend greatly upon the power of God’s Spirit to change our lives and make an impact on the world.
We realize that everyone has a need, and we believe that Jesus is the answer to that need. We seek to connect you and your need to Jesus, and His family, the Church. We do this by Exaltation, Edification, Equipping, and Evangelism.
Exaltation is simply worshipping God and lifting Him up. We do this through our praise and worship, as well as our prayers. This is primarily done during Sunday morning worship services, as well as our Wednesday evening prayer meeting.
Edification is to be lifted up and encouraged. Our goal is to see you lifted up and encouraged. Jesus never left people the same way He found them. He always forgave them, loved them, and gave them hope for the future. We believe you will be edified as you encounter Jesus through worship, the Word, and through the prayers and fellowship of other believers.
Equipping is so vital to your Christian life. No soldier would go into battle without the proper equipment, or he will be easily defeated. We are committed to making sure that every believer is equipped for the greatest battle of all. We do this through practical biblical teaching in our Sunday School classes and preaching on Sunday and Wednesday, as well as allowing you opportunities to receive strength from the Spirit of God to do what only He can do. Our goal is to equip you so that you can fulfill God’s plan for your life.
Evangelism is God’s method of telling others who Jesus is, and why He came. We believe evangelism is every Christian’s responsibility so we train on how to share your faith on a daily basis, as well as give opportunities through community outreach and short term mission trips. We also support missionaries and church planting movements around the world.
Come join us as we grow,
Pastor Troy Jent
